XVR for e-learning security and transportation accidents
E-Semble develops an e-learning version of XVR for the projects Stepping Stones and TUIS-VR.

The fifth annual Interschutz (international exhibition for rescue, fire prevention, disaster relief, safety and security) will be held from 7 to 12 June 2010 at the Exhibition Centre in Leipzig, Germany.





Fire Service College Kuopio (Finland) shows XVR at ITK2010
Instructors from Pelastusopisto, the Finnish Fire & Emergency Services College in Kuopio, showed XVR at the yearly ITK2010 (Information technology in education) exhibition.





Command and control exercise in Östra Götaland, Sweden
On January 26, 2010, the Fire–Rescue Services of the Östra Götaland region, Sweden, conducted a command and control exercise. The exercise scenario was a train accident, which had been constructed in a virtual environment using XVR.





Virtual training for tackling incidents on the water
XVR is to be expanded to include training possibilities for tackling incidents on the water. The first virtual incident to be added to the XVR library will be 3D objects for tackling oil slicks.
