Mont Blanc Tunnel This project was assigned to E-Semble by GEIE-TMB, the organization that takes care of the maintenance and management of the tunnel. Safety is a very important subject for the Mont Blanc Tunnel, especially since the re-opening of the tunnel after the catastrophe in 1999. A large part of the tunnel and the two entrances are build in 3d by using laserscanning and virtual models were made of incident response professionals and their vehicles and equipment. The 3d models were then integrated in the virtual scenarios of XVR. With these scenarios all the personnel that is involved with the safety of the Mont Blanc Tunnel can be trained and educated. It is possible to train individual but they can also use it for team trainings. A special room was designed to use as an training room. At this moment the project is in phase 2. In this phase interactive logic like dynamic smoke and fire, is being build in XVR.
