ISEE Project History The ISEE Simulator was developed in the EU Leonardo da Vinci Project: "ISEE - Interactive Simulation for Emergencies". The Free University of Brussels (VUB), Belgium, initiated the project. Prof. Dr. Michel Debacker from the VUB was project leader of the ISEE project. E-Semble was technology partner in this project. The knowledge and expertise about training and education in disaster medicine was provided by the following academic knowledge providers: • Free University of Brussels - Belgium • KMC - Centre of teaching and research in disaster medicine and traumatology, Linköping - Sweden • University of East Piemonte, Novara - Italy • Society for Emergency and Disaster Medicine, Rumania • Public Enterprise for Health Emergencies, Granada - Spain • CSCI, Novara - Italy The project was successfully completed on 31 October 2007. The project partners jointly decided to hand over further development and sales of the ISEE Simulator to E-Semble.
