Advantages of ISEE

Country or region-specific training in a freely configurable environment

In the ISEE simulator, realistic configurations of countries, regions, emergency services stations and hospitals can simply be input and adapted. Customer-specific settings relate for example to the number of rescue vehicles available, the amount of personnel on call and equipment available. On this basis, course participants are forced to take into account such logistic aspects as call-up times, transport times and treatment times. ISEE instructors themselves determine the type, scale and location of an incident.

Digital scenario

Using the ISEE simulator, you can prepare your scenario for an exercise, in detail. Using pre-prepared actions and messages on a timeline, an exercise leader is notified during the exercises of approaching, planned occurrences, and through a simple action instructors can initiate specific activities, and send messages to participants. Using the feedback module, it is possible to determine in advance what data must be present in the log file.

Participants are the key decision-makers

In an ISEE chain exercise, the participants themselves are the key decision-makers in respect of logistic dilemmas. The participants can for example include members of a regional policy or operational team, officers in the COPI (on-site incident command), control room operators or department heads of the Emergency Department or Intensive Care unit in a hospital. The participants themselves assess and manage the section of the chain for which they are responsible, and enter their decisions in the simulator. The simulator then calculates the consequences of the decisions, and displays the results.

Unlimited practice wherever you want it

Using the ISEE simulator, there is no restriction on the amount of practice available. As soon as a configuration has been made, it can be repeatedly reused for training (other) individuals or multiple course participants per exercise. Using the ISEE simulator, you can exercise wherever you want to, as often as you like, and with whatever learning objective you choose.

Consequences of actions are automatically calculated

Decisions can only be implemented if enough emergency services professionals with the required competences and resources are available. The simulator calculates the consequences of all decisions on the basis of journey times, average deployment times and treatment times. The scenario is updated in real time, to demonstrate changes in the virtual exercise environment.

Link to XVR
By linking the ISEE Simulator to the XVR virtual reality software it is possible to setup full scale exercises starting at the incident area and ending inside the hospital.
