XVR scenarios for National Contingency Planning Examination What should you do if threatened with an approaching white gas cloud? And what action should you take if you see a bomb attack being carried out? These are just two of the questions that were put to the participants in the National Contingency Planning Examination on 13 December in Paradiso Amsterdam. To give the participants a clear picture of the case studies available, virtual crisis situations were screened. The virtual case studies were developed in XVR.During the National Contingency Planning Examination, the central focus was placed on the role of citizens and administrators at times of crisis. On a large screen, virtual disaster scenarios were screened, according to which the participants were required to answer questions. When the examination was taken, experts delivered content-based feedback on dilemmas in the field of crisis management and contingency planning.
