Hardware specifications

Below we have listed the minimum specifications for XVR & ISEE hardware. You are of course free to buy and maintain your own hardware. However we strongly invite you to order your hardware through E-Semble. The advantage is that we know what hardware we deliver to you so we can answer service questions more efficiently. Secondly, we have thoroughly tested the hardware we deliver to you so you can be sure XVR & ISEE runs flawlessly.

E-Semble is continuously enhancing the capabilities of its software. In some cases, new functionalities require more powerful computing power. We however guarantee the usability of XVR & ISEE within the below mentioned lifetime of the hardware.

XVR
Desktop PC
The advantage of desktop PC’s over laptops is that you can replace the graphics card if a more powerful graphics card is available. This extends the lifetime of your hardware. Expected lifetime of desktop PC’s is 3 years (4 years with a graphics card replacement).

Laptop PC
The advantage of laptops is portability. However, the graphics card can't be replaced and as result the advised lifetime of a laptop is 2 years.
