Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency MSB chooses XVR

MSB, the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency, has chosen for the use of XVR as of 2012. The simulation software will be implemented in their state-of-the-art training centre in Revinge.

MSB is a government agency that coordinates and supports the entire emergency management structure. The agency is an experienced user of simulation trainings and has been using virtual simulators for years to complement their live exercises. The choice for XVR means that E-Semble’s simulation software will now be used in MSB’s training centre to support training and education on several fields, such as fire fighting, hazmat incidents and oil spill response.

The MSB training centre is one of the leading training centres in Europe, were not only Swedish but also international rescue professionals receive training. E-Semble and MSB will cooperate in the future to improve the use of XVR as a support tool for classroom education.
